چکیده
Neonatal sepsis (NS) continues to be the one of major problems in neonatal practice. This is due variability clinical manifestations and, part, lack available diagnostic markers that are significantly associated with mortality as a result sepsis. The purpose - study role paraclinical myocardial dysfunction neonates Materials and methods. To achieve this goal, 87 newborns (the main group) generalized infectious-inflammatory process were under our observation. control group included 30 newborns, which infectious inflammatory diseases refuted. Examination treatment patients NS was carried out accordance modern international guidelines recommendations. Results discussion. Based on comprehensive examination group, it found 25 (28.7%) suffered from early sepsis, respectively, remaining 62 (71.3%) had late NS. According severity condition, 76 (87.4%) children required intensive care, provided care unit. average value procalcitonin observation 2.53±0.33 ng/ml, 0.24±0.04 ng/ml (p<0.05). mean values creatine phosphokinase, MB fraction troponin I 58.44±2.39 U/l 0.33±0.05 41.74±2.45 0.04±0.01 Conclusions. Generalized accompanied by increased activity cardiotropic biochemical markers. conducted principles Declaration Helsinki. research protocol approved Local Ethics Committee institution mentioned work. Myocardial dysfunction in pediatric septic shock.
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the prevalence and significance of myocardial dysfunction in children with septic shock. STUDY DESIGN Thirty patients with septic shock were evaluated by transthoracic echocardiography within 24 hours of admission to a pediatric critical care unit. Transthoracic echocardiography evaluation included left ventricular (LV) size and function, mitral valve inflow velocities i...

B a mmHg; the patient developed tachycardia of 130 beats/minute and became hemodynamically unstable despite volume resuscitation. Urgent laparotomy was performed because of clinical and radiological signs of ileus. Surgical abdominal exploration showed closed-loop obstruction due to adhesions with necrosis of the ileum. Resection of the ileum with terminal ilio-ascending colon anastomosis was p...
متن کاملPlatelet-derived exosomes from septic shock patients induce myocardial dysfunction
INTRODUCTION Mechanisms underlying inotropic failure in septic shock are incompletely understood. We previously identified the presence of exosomes in the plasma of septic shock patients. These exosomes are released mainly by platelets, produce superoxide, and induce apoptosis in vascular cells by a redox-dependent pathway. We hypothesized that circulating platelet-derived exosomes could contri...
